Update! The photos are up in the gallery!

Well, we made it to Split and I’m currently uploading a trimmed set of photos (still amounts to 408!) whilst sat in my pants back in DJ Towers, London. Will put some of the highlights on Facebook thought it’s definitely worth flicking through here for some hidden gems.

Video editing was a nightmare this year what with cars in our convoy breaking down, power supplies exploding at every opportunity etc but we have plenty footage that I’ll glue together this week. Wish it could have gone up day by day, hopefully watching us on GPS was good enough :-)

All you need to know really for now is that it was a brilliant few days, and we made it :-) The picture above was taken in a Split car park and you see me and cookie celebrating with a tequila beer!

Phase One – Complete!

Phase one of the overhaul took place at the weekend and DESPITE a shitload of rain I managed to get some painting done.

What you see from the front are the RACING STRIPES and the silhouettes of myself and Cook! So far the interior has advanced a bit but the full-monty effect is yet to be revealed (we’re going larger than last year!)

Well the time has come and since I’m picking it up tomorrow I think it’s only fair that you get to see team 2ManyJDs Ramshackle Rally car for 2008!

Yep, inkeeping with the fleet, it’s a big old Beamer! The beast may have 180K Miles on the clock but she’s an absolute stonker and after this weekend will hardly be recognisable as myself and cook get to work on the mobile disco customisations.

I pick it up tomorrow so watch this space!
