The Girls of American Apparel The whole premise behind American Apparel is the down to earth, eco friendly and exploitation-free creation of clothes. This is exactly why they use the girl next door to advertise their gear. I’m sure that its success has nothing to do with the blatently porno poses they get put in. Jesus christ.
