Video Calls

I know this is a bit “Dad” of me but video calling still amazes me.

Not the technology because I know how it works (although as a bit of side-amazement the widespread availability of that technology is the really impressive thing) it’s just the fact that you can [click click] and then see your mates right on your screen! Awesome! This would have blown someones mind 100 years ago.

100 years! That’s absolutely fuck-all! People live to over 100 quite regularly thesedays. Amazing. If I get to say 85 I’ll be aiming for 100 you can bet your bollocks.

It’s the child in me I think, which would help explain why all the mobile video calls I’ve ever made have been from the pub after I’ve regressed a few years following a few pints.

Check this out from earlier.. total genius. Here you will see Nick and Dan in Germany working at the European Space Operations Centre whilst I was sat at my desk in West London.
